Urban Decay Naked Palette vs. NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit. Dupe?

I believe everyone knows how famous Urban Decay Naked Palette is. Till now, it still runs out of stock everywhere. Those that couldn't get a chance to snag them are out looking for dupes. I've reviewed both Urban Decay Naked Palette and NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit previously. But does it par to a dupe?

I am not a UD lover, but as everyone knows UD Naked has been one of my favorite palette ever since I purchased them. And never did I regretted my choice. The problem is.....we need something friendly to our pocket and getting the same neutral colors!!

Urban Decay Naked:

Price: $40 (I think they increased the price for the new packaging with brush)
Packaging: 12 full size eyeshadow, double-ended 24/7 liner pencil, 1 travel size UDPP. The brown velvet packaging is attracting dust which is not good.

Texture & Pigmentation: I think the Urban Decay shadows feel a little smoother and look more intense on my skin even without the UDPP as base. The shadow definitely last longer on my lid before it creases and smudge. Definitely colors for sunny day and smokey night
NYX Nude in Nude

Price: $11 (It is 4 times cheaper than UD...Great for your purse)
Packaging: 9 eye shadows, 2 lip colors with applicators & mirror. Small enough to be placed in your bag

Texture & Pigmentation: The NYX colors is definitely worth for the price. The texture of each shadow is quite soft, smooth and blendable. Certain colors are pigmented too compare those drugstore products which the same price range.

Swatches comparison:

Do you think both of these are dupe?

It’s not a total dupe, of course but there are some shades between the two that doesn't feel much alike or look alike.

Conclusion:

NYX is definitely a neutral palette which are friendly for our purse but Urban Decay is one of those awesome palette to give a miss on. Both of them are definitely not a dupe. NYX comes with special colors of its own and doesn't look the same as Urban Decay.

Do you need both of them? They both are different and not too alike. Therefore, if you have Urban Decay, having NYX should be fun for your collection. But if you have NYX, you may want to get the legendary UD and pass the raved.

Dupe or No?

I say no...But you decide.
